📡 What CocoaBeachToday Tracks

We built this platform because nothing else was tracking the Space Coast in real time. Rocket launch schedules change by the hour. Surf conditions change by the tide. Ships come and go from Port Canaveral on a constant rotation. Live music lineups get cancelled and rescheduled without warning. None of that was being surfaced anywhere reliably.

CocoaBeachToday pulls live data from launch tracking systems, surf buoys, port schedules, and local business feeds so that what you see is what's actually happening — not what was accurate three weeks ago when someone last updated a static website.

🌤️ Weather Right Now

Cocoa Beach weather follows a predictable pattern for most of the year — warm, sunny mornings, afternoon thunderstorms that clear by evening, and comfortable nights. The exception is hurricane season (June through November) when tropical systems can affect the area with little notice.

For rocket launches specifically, weather is everything. Even a 20% chance of lightning within 10 miles of the launch pad can scrub a mission. If you're traveling for a launch, build flexibility into your plans. The Space Coast weather guide has everything you need to plan around the seasons.
