The Route

FL-528 East (Beachline Expressway) from Orlando to Port Canaveral. Clearly signed. 60-75 minutes with no traffic. Tolls: $4-6. Keep cash or use the rental car transponder.

Stop at Cocoa Beach on the Way

The Beachline ends at A1A in Cocoa Beach, 5 miles from the port. If you arrive early, Cocoa Beach is the obvious and correct staging area.

Too Early at the Port

If you arrive before your check-in window, do not sit in the port parking lot. Cocoa Beach is 10 minutes away and provides something to do.
